Ele is a real fan of dogs- even having dog paw prints tattooed on her shoulder- she has
five pet dogs at home- a Jack Russell Terrier puppy called Ruby, two Greyhounds (That she raced and won 17
races and 14 races with)Molly and Fly and 2 Border Collies- Boogie and Frankie.
She enjoys spending time and training
all her dogs, the smaller ones meet the Retired Greyhounds to see how they get on with other breeds. And she cannot wait to
have puppies from Ruby.
The youngsters often go out with the Boarding dogs to give them some friends to play with, especially
if they are a little bit nervous.
She is Chairman of Bromsgrove Dog Training Club, competing at agility with her
dogs.
Having qualified as an Instructor for the Agility Club, Ele Teaches agility and also Judges at Kennel Club
Shows.
A few years ago as Lady Captain of the Golf Club she raised
£5200-00 for Hearing Dogs for
Deaf People, which is enough to sponsor a dog for its whole working life.
With a Veterinary Nurse background , running
a Boarding Kennels is a dream realised.
Ele now has her own riding horse Dougie , who is a gentle giant
standing at more than 17 hands high
A keen horse rider in his younger days, Stephen also
trained point-to pointers and bred Jack Russels and Wilma seen here is the last of the line. She sadly died December 2008,
but had lived a happy life!
Moving to Meadowcroft made him keen to rekindle his love of horses and possibly
breed some more Jack Russels. He now has 3 point to point horses in training here and Coco the Shetland Pony cross for
company. We have an all weather gallop for the horses to train on in the mornings. The big lad- Murphy give the girls
a welcome snort over the stable door in the mornings, and the very handsome Ben graces the yard with his prescence.Rathy will
come back in to training for next season.
Stephen has had a very successful couple of seasons. All 3 horses have won-
TC , Murphy and Ben which ia an amazing achievement. Sadly TC died in his retirement but is laid to rest on the gallop so
we can all remember such a special horse and our very first point to point winner. RIP TC.
With Ruby now here he will
be able to start a new line of Jack Russells................
